Community-Led Chemical Analysis

Rebel Analytics is founded and directed by Phoenix (AKA Mohawk), a resident of NYC over 15+ years, who's deeply embedded in the local drug culture and street economies of our city’s most marginalized populations. We don’t just "provide services"--We advocate and build solidarity. We model our activism on the radical legacy of queer and BIPOC harm reduction pioneers, like ACT UP, who knew that we have to be our own experts to survive.

We recognize that for many, access to reliable substance analysis is blocked by geography, stigma, or cost. If you are a person who uses drugs and you’re struggling to access the resources you need to navigate an increasingly toxic supply, we are filling the void. Through our Mail-Based Analysis Program, we provide affordable, lab-grade analytical services and supplies directly to the community—prioritizing those who the traditional systems neglect.

To ensure we prioritize local impact and program integrity, these kits are currently reserved for:

  • NYC Neighbors: Available for pickup from designated community partners and locations.
  • CAP Participants: Individuals currently enrolled in our Chemical Analysis Program.
  • Shop Supporters: Accessible when bundled with specific drug checking materials from our online store.

Participatory Action Research: Contributing Your Data

Our analysis is most impactful when paired with your firsthand insights. By sharing details about your sample, you help us build a more accurate and comprehensive picture of the local drug supply.

To begin, please use the Unique Sample ID (SID) found in your Mailer Kit to provide the necessary context for your sample. This step is essential for our lab to finalize and release your results.
